Pattaya Beach Hotel Tip
If you take a room on the 5th, 6th or higher floors of most hotels along Beach Road Pattaya you will have an
unobstructed view over Pattaya beach to the ocean and islands beyond. However if you reserve a hotel room on any floor lower than the fifth floor your view will be obstructed by telephone lines and power cables.
Pattaya Budget Hotel Tip
If you don't want to climb 4 flights of stairs then before you make your booking we suggest you check how many floors your hotel has and whether or not there is a lift. The general rule in Thailand is that any hotel with more than 5 floors must have a lift (elevator).
Many hotels or resorts with just 5 floors or less DO NOT have a lift. Even some cheap Pattaya hotels with six floors of accomodation do not have a lift.
Pattaya Hotel On the Beach
Unlike many medium size hotels in Pattaya this “beachside hotel” has an elevator (lift). It is our recommendation for a good quality, almost boutique Pattaya hotel on Beach Road. It has six floors so try for a room on the sixth floor ocean side. Here is what you will find near the hotel. Walk from the front door of the hotel turn left and walk
twenty meters along Beach Road from the hotel you will
find two girly bars; the Koong King and The Beat. (continued below)
Walk further along Beach Road in the same direction for about
one minute from the hotel and you will come to a “Burger King” restaurant
and a “Subway” sandwich bar. Of course you will also pass
several small Thai food restaurants along the way.
The Sabai Land soapy massage parlor is a five-minute
walk from the front door of the hotel.
