This picture shows three quite common occurences in Thailand but if it were to happen in the west???? The main Oddity here is the canopy which has been extended from a shop front out over the road blocking the right hand lane with tables and chairs ready for a party to celebrate a shop opening. This creates a traffic jam complete with dangerous manoeuvers.
Next caught in the traffic are two Thai school girls who are under age motorbike riders with no license. Finally just to add to the congestion another motor bike rider stops in the middle of the intersection to make a phone call on his mobile phone. At least he stopped to make the call. Also just for interest there is a man sitting in the back of the truck. The tail gate is down and he is seated on a slippery piece of iron at the edge of the tray.
